Start with the tutorial

Use the opening tutorial to learn the interface, resource counters, and basic decisions. The official mobile listing describes introductory content as free, with a one-time purchase unlocking the campaign and custom skirmish. Do not assume the mobile purchase structure also describes the Steam edition.

Campaign and skirmish

Campaign offers a structured journey, while skirmish is listed as a separate way to play. The Steam store describes campaign missions across five regions; five regions does not mean five missions. Read the setup and objective available in your version before deciding how long a run will take. This guide does not promise that progress transfers between modes.

Steam's February 2026 demo update described Conquest features, including horses that can appear in Conquest and a Stable for faction-specific cavalry. Those notes establish what was described for the demo, not the rules or availability of Conquest in every current release. Do not treat Conquest as another name for Skirmish without checking your platform and version.

Puzzles and weekly challenges

Puzzles and weekly challenges offer additional objectives beyond a standard settlement run. The iOS App Store history says version 1.6.0 added five Dawnfolk crossover story puzzles featuring Lueur. That version record does not establish the same content for Steam or Android. Read each challenge’s own instructions; we do not provide untested puzzle answers or assume that an older solution still works.

Match the mode to your goal

For interface practice, begin with the tutorial. For a more structured session, examine the campaign. For a different setup, inspect skirmish options. Check the platform’s official store for access and purchase details; availability and pricing should not be inferred from a guide written for another platform.
